K9502 finished cardYou will need:-

Many of the small decorative items and glitter I have used can easily be replaced with things you may already have. If not Ebay is a good source of cardmaking goodies.

Card template printed on card

Print the card and envelope template onto card, (270gsm is ideal) and the patterned envelope onto heavy paper, (120gsm is ideal, this is about the weight of nice writing paper).

Score a line between the arrows shown at the top and bottom of the card with a blunt instrument like a bone folder, which creates the score line and can then be used to flatten the fold (search under ‘Bone folder’on Ebay, they are usually about £2, and are a very useful item). Then cut out the card and the patterned envelope carefully. Cut out the ‘Handmade by’ label and attach to the back of the card.

Close-up view of cardDot glue on the pram body and hood, and cover with pale pink glitter. Just squiggle and dot about randomly, nothing too precise, you can always repeat the process if you want more later. (I used Martha Stewart Irridescent Tinsel Glitter in Sugar Cube).

Card close-upTip the loose glitter onto a spare sheet of paper to reuse later. If you use a spare blank card with a fold already in it for this, this makes it really easy to whoosh the glue back into even the tiniest pot. Once the card is slightly folded, the glitter follows the fold line straight back into the pot. Tap it to get the last bits in.

Card close-upAdd tiny silver stars to pom poms on pram. Dot pink glitter glue along the scarf in nice sized dots, and add a dot to the centre of the silver stars to hide any glue that might poke through the centre hole. (I used Stickles Glitter Glue in Pink).

Leave to dry thoroughly, this may take a while if the dots are quite large.

Part of cardGlue the crystal daisies onto each wheel and add another dot of Pink Glitter glue to the centre of each.

Leave to dry thoroughly.

Card close-upThe embellishments to the card are finished.

Card envelopeRead the envelope instructions on the template sheet and then cut out the square template leaving the red dotted line still visible.

Position the template on the reverse of the patterned envelope and fold the envelope around the template.

Glue the largest flap over the side flaps. Slide the card into the envelope folded edge first.
