Decoupage Card Kit Tutorial
- Step 1
- Step 2
- Step 3
- Step 4
- Step 5
Start by cutting around all of the images, backgrounds and captions, leaving a narrow white edge, (just a couple of millimetres) around each image.
The smallest images can be cut as close as possible to the edge.
Group the cut out pieces by card design, following the instructions page, and arrange them on each blank card.

Take off all but the background square (if the design has one), and attach it to the card using paper glue. The first layer is now in position.

Attach the next layer using 3D sticky pads or decoupage glue to give the 3D effect. Use 2 sticky pads for the very smallest images and up to 10 sticky pads for the very largest. Space the sticky pads evenly, (quite close to the edges but not right on the edge or they will be visible later), and also in the middle for large images.
With all the sticky pads in place, remove the papers from the other side of the sticky pads. Following the layouts below, turn the image over and hold above the blank card, until you are happy with the position, lower the image down and stick down. You now have the background layer, the main images and the caption in position.

If you want to, you can add a further layer of decoupage by adding the remaining small duplicate images using the 3D sticky pads or decoupage glue in the same way as the last layer. These are the smallest images which fit over the same part of the picture and give a further depth to the design.
With the sticky pads attached hold the small image over the same area of the design until you are happy it is in the right position, and then lower it down and stick in position.
Fold the card carefully along the fold line with the 3D images uppermost, and your card is now completed.

All completed cards are shown below.
